ABOUT THE IOWA WOMEN’S SUMMER LEAGUE
The Iowa Women’s Summer League (IWSL) is a women’s collegiate fastpitch softball league designed to provide competitive summer play in a positive and enjoyable environment. The league serves collegiate-age female athletes looking to continue playing at a high level during the summer months.
Open to players from NCAA Division I, II, III, JUCO, NAIA, Club programs, and Post-Graduates, the IWSL welcomes athletes from a wide range of schools and backgrounds.

Celebrating 10 Seasons of Women’s Collegiate Fastpitch Softball
The Iowa Women’s Summer League is celebrating its 10th season of women’s collegiate fastpitch softball. Over the years, more than 300 players representing over 75 different colleges and programs have participated in the league.
The IWSL was created to offer meaningful game opportunities without the time demands of formal practices. With Sunday doubleheaders throughout June and July, players are able to compete, develop, and enjoy the game in a structured yet flexible summer league format.

The Iowa Women’s Summer League is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing an affordable and accessible summer fastpitch softball experience. Team uniform shirts and socks are provided to all players.
The league emphasizes competition, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game while supporting continued development for collegiate-age athletes.
